Privacy Policy & Data Usage

We only collect what is needed to run the directory:

• Business listings: business name, category, description, address, area, phone, WhatsApp, email, website, social links, opening hours and photos that you choose to submit.
• Founder details (optional): a founder's name, role, short bio and photo, if you choose to add them to your listing.
• Keywords: search words you choose to describe your business.
• Account details (Google sign-in): to list a business you sign up with Google. Google shares your name, email address and profile photo with us. We never receive your Google password. Browsing the directory does not need an account.
• Submitter details: the name and email of your Google account, and the phone number on your listing. We call that number to confirm your listing before it goes live.
• Reviews: the name you enter, your star rating and your comment.
• Basic usage data: pages viewed and technical information (such as browser type and IP address) that our hosting provider records to keep the website running and secure.

We do not ask for payment details, government IDs or passwords from visitors.

• To show approved business listings and reviews to visitors.
• To review, approve, edit or remove listings and reviews.
• To contact a submitter about their listing.
• To keep the website secure, prevent spam and fix problems.
• To improve the directory and understand which features are useful.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

• Public: everything in an approved business listing (including its business phone, email, address, keywords and any founder details you add), and reviews with the name the reviewer entered. Anyone can see this, and search engines may index it.
• Not shown on the website: the submitter's own name, email and phone. These are used only by our team to verify and contact you.

Please do not include personal details in your listing or review that you do not want to be public.

We use only essential cookies, for example to keep you signed in to your account and to keep our team signed in to the admin area. We do not use advertising cookies. Your recent searches and the businesses and happenings you save are kept only on your own device, and you can clear them in Settings. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this page.

We use trusted service providers to run the website. They process data only on our behalf:

• Google — sign-in. Google's own privacy policy applies to your Google account.
• Supabase — database, sign-in and photo storage.
• Vercel — website hosting.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We keep listings and reviews for as long as they are on the directory. Rejected or removed submissions are deleted within a reasonable time. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see section 7).

• Ask us to correct, update or remove your business listing.
• Ask us to delete a review you posted.
• Ask us to delete your account and the listings saved to it.
• Ask what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it.

We use reputable providers and access controls to protect data. No website can be 100% secure, so please share only information you are comfortable having on a public directory.

This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the website means you accept the updated policy.
